Step into Care
Wigan & Leigh College teamed up with Wigan Council and our Care Providers to create ‘Step Into Care.’ It’s a short training programme for residents aged 19+ to get a taste of a career in adult social care.
Starting in October 2023, the programme is a mixture of college-based learning and work experience.

Supporting Wigan Cricket Club
Wigan & Leigh College supported Wigan Cricket Club’s 175th Anniversary charity event with an appearance of their ‘Roaming Rushton’ cart which served hot drinks and refreshments for the public with small donations going towards Wigan & Leigh Hospice.

Wigan & Leigh College is offering community learning opportunities for residents of Platt Bridge.
