The Lewy Body Society – 20th Anniversary Celebration

In 2026, Jacqui Cannon and The Lewy Body Society proudly mark their 20th anniversary – two decades as the only UK charity dedicated solely to Lewy body dementia. Since their founding in Wigan, they have worked tirelessly to raise awareness, fund vital research, and support those affected by this complex and often misunderstood condition.

To celebrate this milestone, they are hosting a special Anniversary Dinner which promises to be a night of celebration, awareness and reflection. Tickets are now available at just £65 – don’t miss your chance to be part of this milestone event.

Sahara Trek - Fundraising for Wigan & Leigh Hospice

Neil Whittingham, Jonathan Mackie & Scott Lees of Cowgills along with a couple of friends Ben Gray and Gareth Conroy will be braving the scorching heat of the Sahara Desert in November, to raise money for Wigan & Leigh Hospice.

We have arranged an event to kick off our fundraising for the trek. We are holding an evening of Jazz at Standish Social Club with the hugely talented Wigan Youth Jazz Orchestra and Wigan Youth Training Jazz Orchestra.
